Ok, so I feel like writing something again. On to the comics land...

52 #52. When I first saw the preview for this I thought something had to happen because all the 52 worlds couldn't stay exactly the same. But a big bug sucking time and space? Really? Ok... I've never really cared about the space stories in comics because all the different aliens and stuff just fail to impress me, and this falls to that category. I just wasn't at all impressed by the horror of Mr. Mind the bug man. Most of these "big" events don't really interest me at all. Same was with Infinite Crisis. Although I must say I kinda liked Crisis on Infinite Earths. But the ones more "down to earth" are better in my opinion. That's why I really should read all of No Man's Land. If I just had the time...

Anyway, on to the rest of it. It was nice seeing Ted again. I'm still sad he's dead. But how rude was it for Booster to steal the scarab? I don't know much about Ted's history but didn't he have it at some point? Well, what do I know, continuity has never been something I can keep up with. Also, I know about Captain Atom going back and forth between Wildstorm and DC but does this mean that bleed thingy they have there is between these 52 worlds? It's all so confusing I'm just giving myself a headache thinking about it. Ralph and Sue the ghost detectives would be cool, they should get a series. And I really hope we'll be seeing more of Batwoman and The Question since the ending gives the impression they'll be working together. Taking all this, some of it was good and some not so good. But as a whole 52 really was a pleasant surprise, I hope Countdown will be too.

Then on to the big one, Strangers in Paradise #89. Penultimate issue. And I really really liked it. My only disappointment was we still didn't get to see THE KISS. But Tambi getting all soft was cool. I was half expecting her to kick Casey's ass after Casey kicked her in the knee but I just forgot for a sec she's not like that anymore. And them hugging was sooooo cute. I must say Casey turning out to be a Parker girl was a big surprise, I wasn't expecting it at all and it completely changed her character from what I had thought she was. But it's not necessarily a bad thing. After the last issue I'll have to read the whole series from the start again and maybe I'll see things differently. And then of course Katchoo and Francine finally got together. After Francine had taken her clothes of, again. Hilarious. She really has some kind of weird need to do that. Her rant to Katchoo was great also. "You had me at shittin' sunshine". You had me at that too, Francine, no doubt about it. I hope they'll get to kiss on panel in the last issue, that's the thing I want anymore. Terry, pretty please? I really doubt I could find the right location with Earth Google...

Here's two panels from it:

lol, go Francine!
I'm so going to miss this series...
