Have to get something off my chest and since I created this place just for that here goes...

I was reading this column on CBR today which mostly was about downloading comics and if it's ok or not. I have to say that although I understand that it is stealing I thank those scans for introducing me to the amazing world of comics. If I hadn't been able to dl Birds of Prey and see what it was all about I would never had found out how great it is. And from getting to know some really wonderful titles has followed that I've bought some (what I've been able with my low income) of those titles in single issues or trades, again something I never would've done if I hadn't been able to download the comics from internet in the first place. All I'm saying is that like many others have said it's not necessarily a bad thing in the end.

This damn country is just so bad when it comes to being a fan of comics. Well, for me anyway. There's a huge amount of manga (or whatever that is) available, and most of the superhero stuff is Marvel. And yes, I'm a DC fan. It's pretty much just Superman and Batman from DC here. Boooring. So all I can do is buy trades online, or whenever I can get single issues from US. Sucks.

On a different subject, I'm so gonna miss Paige on The L Word, good thing Painkiller Jane is starting soon. Kristanna Loken is awesome!
