CBR: Homosexuality in Comics Part 1

Comic Book Resources posted the first installment in their look at homosexuality in comics. It introduces five of the people taking part in the discussion: Marc Andreyko, Lillian Diaz-Przbyl, Devin Grayson, Terrance Griep and Mark Millar. I found the Devin Grayson bit particularly interesting.

Bionic Woman news

Afterellen.com posted news about Bionic Woman. I won't comment on the other bit but I'm kinda bummed they decided to axe the deaf sister. Apparently they'll recast the role and she won't be deaf anymore. I found it new and interesting that she was deaf but should've known they wouldn't know how to deal with that in the end. Just like they didn't know how to deal with Barbara's paralysis in Birds of Prey.

Layla and Jackie on Kick

Kick is an australian series that I've been watching and yes, it's because I read there's a lesbian in it (I'm so shallow...). The show is a bit nutty but Layla and Jackie are very cute and therefore I must share the cuteness with people who haven't seen it. As a background info Layla is supposed to marry this guy (whose name isn't important) but she's obviously not very happy about it. And then she meets Jackie...
