I will only do this once. I promise I won't squee about Nancy McKeon again after this (unless it's related to The Facts of Life). With the help of someone's comment on my FoL music video I found a lot of Nancy videos on YouTube and went a little crazy. Ok, so I wasn't that impressed with all of it (Lifetime and Hallmark TV movies, eep!) but there was some interesting stuff I was happy to finally see, including The Division.
This is Nancy in a sitcom called Can't Hurry Love in 1995, with none other than Mariska Hargitay! Mariska didn't look anything like Butchy McFabulous but Nancy looks cute with the short hair.
Then there's The Division, the show I've been wanting to see for a long time already, even before I knew who Nancy McKeon is. I wonder if they made Jo a cop in the FoL reunion movie because Nancy was making this show at that time...? Anyway, after learning that Nancy was in The Division I wanted to see it even more and now I have, some of it anyway. The Nancy fans have uploaded a lot of clips of her plus some whole eps too. Woohoo! There was Jo, all grown up. At one point in the series her character, Jinny, was in a relationship with this guy played by Dean Cain. Someone commented that it was painful to watch them together because all they could think was that Superman is cheating on Lois and Jo is cheating on Blair. LOL. I think the funniest thing about The Division was that Jinny's father was played by the same man who was Jo's father in FoL, Alex Rocco. And now I will stop rambling about it and just encourage anyone interested to take a look. And just to make it clear, the show is about cops.
Here's a scene with Jinny and her partner, played by Lisa Vidal.
And here's Jinny with her brother who tells her that he's gay (wish it was the other way around...)
This user has been posting the whole eps. I made playlists of the eps in order, here they are:
Seasons 1 & 2
Seasons 3 & 4
And last, here's Nancy's interview with Rosie O'Donnell. We find out that she actually dragged Alex Rocco everywhere with her. She and Rosie are so cute when they go all fangirl about The Mary Tyler Moore Show. And damn she looks just like Jo in that clip from The Division...
Ok, that's it, I'll stop now. Bye bye.
