Comics again, no blah included
Time for the weekly look at what I read. This week everything was much better and no boring or infuriating stuff were included. Well I did read Countdown too but don't want to spoil the goodness with it so won't say anything about it (not that I'd have much to say anyway).
Birds of Prey #107.
- lol, gotta love Harley: "I forgot which side of weirdos I was apposeda be fightin' on!"
- But wait a min here... Whitewater part three??? Wasn't last issue part three or did I miss something here?
- Zinda... there just haven't been enough Zinda lately.
- Ouch, that's just nasty, Deadshot. Shouldn't make a threat like that.
- Huntress, I was just thinking the same thing. But Catman might have a point, they are mostly idiots.
- Oh yeah, Barda and Knockout are really enjoying the fight.
- "You think Guy Gardner would want to see you like this?" Ice is back!!! Woohoo!
- Deadshot, Deadshot... you really are a class act.
- Well, I guess Scandal getting shot wasn't really a big deal then. Live and learn.
- Ooh... ok, no one, NO ONE, talks to Zinda like that. You are so finished now, lady.
- LOL, I told you! GO ZINDA!!! I freakin' love you!!!
- But, you know, she better come back...
- Oh yeah, Babs is so gonna kick Katarina's ass.
Well, that was once again a great issue though the fear of Zinda leaving is dampening my excitement. I really hope Babs fixes everything next issue. Yeah, next issue... Gail's last. Sigh...
Strangers in Paradise #90.
Ok, I guess it's time to read the last issue of SiP. I've been waiting for this day for so long and now that it's here I'm just not sure I want to. But it's time.
*this is where I read the issue, no in between comments because it needs complete focus*
Wow... The end. That's it. Perfect issue. Well, we didn't get the kiss but guess Terry had his reasons not to put it there. Casey and Tambi were awesome together. Too bad that's all we'll see of them. And it was a happily ever after all around. I refuse to be anything but satisfied. Now I just need to get the last pocket book and I can read the whole series again. Thank you, Terry Moore.
